Thurlestone truly is a MUST PLAY golf course in South Devon and there's never been a better time to play it. The club have been investing heavily in the golf course and it won't be long until it starts gaining more international recognition. It has been dubbed 'The U.K.'s Pebble Beach' by various golf journalists and you will soon realise why as you navigate your way along the front 9.
Green fees are currently around the £80 mark in the peak season and are worth every penny.
The course is situated in an AONB in Kingsbridge South Devon, and is roughly a 45 minute drive from The English Riviera (Paignton). The course can best be described as a clifftop links and it plays as a par 71, 6230 yards off of the white tees. The front 9 is an exhilarating experience as it heads out along the cliffs with a series of exciting par 3's and some risk or reward short par 4's. The back 9 heads back inland and has four gettable par 5's where you can improve your scorecard.

Thurlestone Golf Breaks
Thurlestone is in a fairly isolated location in South Devon but it is well worth the journey as it will be a golfing experience you'll never forget.
If you're looking to play a game at Thurlestone but would like to stay in a central location with a bit of nightlife then we recommend staying for 2 nights at The Mercure Hotel in Paignton which will be a 45 minute drive to the golf course, and we can add two other rounds of golf at some local courses like Churston and Torquay to make it a South Devon Golf Tour.
