Stover Golf Club
Top 10 in Devon
Devon's Hidden Gem!
Stover Golf Club is a fantastic example of a classic parkland golf course and possibly the most underrated golf course in Devon. The club was founded in 1899, although golf was played at Stover 5 years earlier by Major Harold St Maur who created the original course on his land for his own pleasure. The layout has changed over the years with the most recent adjustments coming in 2024 when a new look front 9 was added to the course.
The redesign has been executed to the highest standards and the course now plays as a par 72, 6359 yards, with the new holes blending seamlessly into the mature parkland that Stover is famous for.
Green fees are around £60 in the peak season but you can make a saving on your tee times by including a round at Stover in one of our South Devon golf break packages.
Stover Golf Club is a great addition to a South Devon Golf Tour. Check out our Stover golf breaks below.
