East Devon Golf Club
Top 100 in England
The Jewel in the Crown of South Devon Golf!
East Devon golf course is a Top 100 gem in South East Devon and is a masterpiece. It was designed by the legendary architect Harry Colt in 1902, and being a heathland course it benefits from superb drainage and is playable all year round due to the links like turf that's perfect to strike a golf ball off. The course is a par 70, 6200 yards and features naturally undulating terrain with picturesque heather and gorse framing a lot of the holes. The views you get of the red cliff Jurassic Coast line are hard to beat and you will constantly find yourself with your camera in your hand to take some memories with you.
Green fees are only £85 to play East Devon and this is ridiculously cheap compared to other courses of a similar quality. If the course was situated near similar standard courses in Bournemouth you would struggle to get any change out of a £150 note.
The course is located in Budleigh Salterton about 15 minutes off the M5 and is a great addition to any golf package we offer in and around The English Riviera.
East Devon Golf Breaks
We recommend playing East Devon golf course on the way to or from Torquay as it's en route for most people travelling to South Devon, being only 15 minutes off the M5. Playing it on your arrival or departure day is a great way to include one of Britain's best golf courses in your package and cut down journey times.
